While the World Watched
 By: Carolyn Maull Mckinstry
This book tells a wonderful story of forgiveness, grace, and redemption! As a child, she survived tow KKK bombings, a residential bombing, and the Sixteenth Street bombing in Birmingham, Alabama on September 15, 1965. As a teenager, Carolyn Maull McKinstry joined the Civil Rights Movement by marching in the Children’s March of 1963 with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., only to be met by grave inhumanity and cruelty of racism. As she struggled to understand the hardh realities of a broken world and mourned the deaths of her four friends who were killed int the Sixteenth Street Church bombing, Mrs. McKinstry experienced the very real presence of God in her lfe as well as what scripture menes when it says, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
